About

When you create, you want your audience to hear your art clearly and connect with it deeply.

"I am passionate about giving each track the individual attention + approach it needs to achieve that 'magic'.

I take a creative + technical approach to give your music the finish that makes it shine. I produce high quality digital masters and also master for vinyl."

Emily Magpie is a Brit-Award nominated mastering engineer.

Since beginning her mastering career in 2021, she has become a sought-after collaborator, working with major labels and emerging artists alike, including Sony, Glassnote Records, bby, Antony Szmierek, Sunflower Thieves, and Ben Kidson.

Her work includes mastering Brit-Award nominee Skye Newman’s Top 5 UK hit Family Matters and other tracks from the debut EP of Radio 1’s Sound of 2026 winner.

Check out her recent work here.

Based in Bristol, she worked as a producer + musician for 7 years before specialising in mastering, giving her deep insight into the entire creative process. She formalised this experience by studying at dBs The Sound & Music Institute where I was tutored by Josh Hills (mastering engineer for Sony, EMI).

She received further training from Grammy Award Winning and Multi-Platinum Mixer/ Producer Craig Silvey (Florence + The Machine, Arcade Fire, IDLES, Sam Fender) via an exclusive scholarship from Mix With The Masters and Soundgirls at Studios La Fabrique in France.

I am proud to be part of the growing 2% of women and gender  minorities working as music producers and care deeply about supporting others in their journey.
